Job Description
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling all aspects of Labor & Employment litigation and counseling employers on compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney looking to handle a wide-range of labor & employment matters involving cutting-edge topics and sophisticated, interesting clients. A portable book of business is not required, but would welcome one.
Qualifications:
- Admission to the Maryland Bar
- Admission to the Virginia and Washington D.C. Bar is a plus
- 6+ years experience handling all aspects of complex & sophisticated litigation, including defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful termination and/or negligent hiring.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills as well as the ability to draft persuasive, clear and effective pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, mediation statements, orders and settlement agreements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
