Job Description: We are hiring for a growing concierge medical practice in Paradise Valley, AZ. They are seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse Manager to expand their practice of functional medicine. This individual will lead infusion activities over locations in North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.
The Infusion Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the infusion services within a functional medicine concierge practice.
This role involves managing a team of nurses, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Nursing Staff: Lead and mentor a team of infusion nurses, ensuring they provide professional nursing care to patients.
- Patient Care: Oversee the administration of intravenous therapies, including chemotherapy, hydration therapy, and vitamin infusions.
- Clinical Procedures: Ensure proficiency in IV insertions, PICC line and Port-a-Cath management, phlebotomy, and blood transfusions.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and communicate findings with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Coordination of Care: Coordinate patient care plans, including scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Compliance: Adhere to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
- Budget Management: Manage the infusion services budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Education and Training: Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in infusion nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Understanding of Operations and Customer Service.
- Licensure: Current RN license in Arizona.
- Certifications: Certification in Infusion Nursing (CIM) preferred.
- Active IV/SWAT skills required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation
$87,000-$115,000 plus bonus and benefits.
