Day Program Manager

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Day Program Manager to lead community-based programs serving adults with developmental disabilities. This role oversees daily operations, staff supervision, program development, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage all aspects of day program operations
• Supervise and train staff, including the Program Coordinator
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Regional Center requirements
• Develop and update program content and activities
• Oversee client admissions, assessments, records, and IPP implementation
• Maintain program budgets, schedules, and reports
• Participate in family meetings, Regional Center meetings, and community events
• Provide direct client support when needed and ensure overall safety
• Prepare payroll reports and required quarterly/semi-annual reports

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• 3+ years administrative experience in social services or direct-support settings
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass Live Scan and drug screening
• Strong discretion with confidential information
• Experience supporting culturally observant communities (preferred)
