Job Description

  • Review and analyze conflict check reports for potential conflicts of interest
  • Advise attorneys on conflict resolution strategies
  • Clear conflicts related to lateral partner, associate, and staff hires
  • Ensure firm-wide compliance with conflicts and risk management policies
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal stakeholders across offices
  • Support the firm’s hiring and onboarding process from a conflicts perspective
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the California Bar, in good standing
  • 3–10 years of experience as:
    • Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm, or
    • General Conflicts Attorney with at least 1 year of experience clearing lateral hires
  • Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience using LawTime and/or Aderant (not required)
