Area Operations Manager (Day Shift)

Job Description

Location: San Leandro, California  

Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 

Role Overview 

The Area Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of Radiologic Technologists and/or  Sonographers within a designated region to ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and  regulatory compliance. This leadership role supports patient care excellence and operational efficiency.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise regional staff and manage daily schedules  
• Ensure compliance with all state radiation and health regulations  
• Direct clinical interaction and assist in studies as needed  
• Conduct 90-day and annual evaluations  
• Order and manage equipment, supplies, and repairs  
• Oversee payroll, productivity metrics, and fleet scheduling  
• Ensure ongoing staff credentialing and training  
• Participate in hiring, orientation, coaching, and counseling  
• Maintain open communication between dispatch, techs, and leadership  
• Perform diagnostic imaging as needed to maintain service standards  

Requirements 

• ARRT Certification and California Radiologic Technologist License (no limited licenses)  – Minimum 2 years of mobile field experience  
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role  
• Valid Driver’s License  
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption  
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within service area  

Physical Demands 

Must be able to push/pull 50–100 lbs multiple times daily. Equipment aids reduce strain but may still  require physical exertion. Reasonable accommodations provided.  

Compensation & Perks 

• $95,000–$102,000 annual salary DOE
