Job Description
- Review and analyze conflict check reports for potential conflicts of interest
- Advise attorneys on conflict resolution strategies
- Clear conflicts related to lateral partner, associate, and staff hires
- Ensure firm-wide compliance with conflicts and risk management policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal stakeholders across offices
- Support the firm’s hiring and onboarding process from a conflicts perspective
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California Bar, in good standing
- 3–10 years of experience as:
- A Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm, or
- A General Conflicts Attorney with at least 1 year of experience clearing lateral hires
- Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience using LawTime and/or Aderant (not required)
