Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership & Curriculum Development:

  • Oversee curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation to ensure alignment with educational standards and the yeshiva’s mission.
  • Support and mentor teachers in instructional best practices, classroom management, and professional growth.
  • Promote innovative teaching methods and integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
  • Monitor student academic progress and implement strategies for intervention and enrichment.
  • Ensure a well-rounded curriculum that supports both Judaic and general studies.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive school environment that supports students’ social, emotional, and spiritual development.
  • Address student behavioral concerns with a proactive, growth-oriented approach that aligns with the school’s values.
  • Implement programs that support student engagement, leadership, and character development.
  • Ensure the safety, discipline, and overall well-being of all students in the division.
  • Maintain open, transparent, and proactive communication with parents regarding student progress, school policies, and events.
  • Address parent concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in educational administration, preferably in a middle school or yeshiva setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to inspire and support teachers while maintaining high academic and ethical standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents, faculty, and leadership.
  • Deep understanding of adolescent development and best practices in middle school education.
  • Commitment to fostering a warm, child-centered, and values-driven school culture.

Compensation: $140,000-$150,000 plus benefits
