Part-Time Resource Teacher for Elementary School

Job Description

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA

Start Date: August 2025

Schedule: Part-Time: Monday-Thursday 7:45am to 1:00PM Friday 7:45am-12PM, but TBD.

Provide resources and support for students in elementary grades in the general studies curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• In coordination with teachers and supervisor, determine which students require the additional resources, and identify what those resource needs are.
• Address and support diverse learning needs to promote student success, including organizing and documenting SST meetings.
• Teach (push-in/pull-out) resource groups of students. 
• Provide input to teachers on student’s progress.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Part of group responsible for testing and assessment of incoming students, including students from Emek’s Early Childhood Center to students coming from outside schools.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Education. Plus if it’s in Special Education. 

Compensation: $30,000-35,000
