Concierge Physician, Family or Internal Medicine
Location: Richmond, VA
Description:
We are currently seeking a board-certified MD in family medicine or internal medicine to join a pioneer in concierge and precision health care. Integrative/Preventive, or IFM certifications are a plus, as this practice provides comprehensive, personalized healthcare with a strong preventive focus.
This practice has been at the forefront of concierge healthcare for over 20 years, combining impeccable service with advanced diagnostic technologies. Their precision health programs include Full Body MRI, Multi-Cancer Early Detection Testing, Genomics, Coronary CT Scanning, and extensive men’s and women’s health services, all tailored to prevent critical health risks like vascular disease, cognitive impairment, and cancer. This holistic approach considers each client’s genetic makeup, medical background, and family history.
This physician will enjoy a higher quality of life including healthy compensation packages, limited member panel allowing longer encounters with each member, no insurance billing or insurance restrictions to practicing medicine. We are searching for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dynamic physician to join our membership healthcare delivery model. We will consider Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Physicians, additional IFM or A4M certifications are welcome.
DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs physical examinations of new and existing members and determines imaging examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.
- Managing and growing a panel of members in the concierge program.
- Interprets examination findings and test results and implements treatment plans.
- Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through member interviews.
- Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to each member, focusing on preventive medicine.
- Directs out-member and facilitates in-member care and services when necessary (hospital privileges are not required).
- Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training and demonstrated ability.
- Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
- Deliver exceptional high-quality care and remains accessible to members 24 hours a day when designated MD on call.
- Active involvement in sales and marketing initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND CAPABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of preventive medicine.
- Knowledge of the state and federal laws pertaining to medicine.
- Knowledge of the structure and function of the medical practice.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, members and the general public.
- Must have an excellent personality, excellent communication skills (with members and their family), members feel cared for and responded to, excellent follow up skills
- Must be a problem solver and solution driven.
- Must maintain confidentiality of the high end membership, must be extremely responsive, be intellectually curious
EDUCATION: Graduation from a college or university accredited by the American Medical Association with a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: License to practice medicine in the State of Virginia, plus current DEA registration.
