Job Description
Description: Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/ PA who has experience in a high-end, private practice and functional medicine. You must be able to independently and effectively handle our protocols and manage clients in those protocols.
Location: Fully remote
Travel required 1 week/month to locations in Santa Monica, CA, Dallas, TX and Miami, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Full time: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM some after hours if needed. On call rotation, up to 1-2 weeks in office per month, paid travel expenses for remote offices
Duties:
- Interpret and report labs, imaging and referral consultations on behalf of the providers
- Take medical history and examine patients when necessary
- Handle acute issues and other needs: preop physicals, etc
- Order testing
- Collaborate with physicians to determine and administer treatment protocols including: Supplements, IV’s and oral medications
- Manage clients/client treatment plans: monitor progress, answer questions, follow up, address issues, etc.
- Support providers in clinical/treatment research and other client care needs
- Perform various in clinic treatments: injections, IVs, etc
- Ability to treat provide in-home service to clients
Requirements:
- Active PA/Nurse Practitioner license
- 2+ years experience in direct patient care in primary care or family practice setting
- 5+ years consistent functional medicine experience and IFM certified preferred
- 5+ years experience with bioidentical HRT M/F, peptides, IV therapies
- Must be intellectually curious, be open to learning new things and always have an interest in learning and incorporating new information into practice
- Must pay attention to patient outcomes and incorporate adjustments to treatments based on these observations
- Must have excellent communication, ability to interpret/understand patient’s needs, strong follow up
- Ideal candidate: ambitious yet caring, values quality of patient service over quantity of patients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong rapport
- Interest in continually learning new information
- Strong interest in finding solutions to problem
- Ability to respond quickly to clinical and client needs
Compensation: $65-$77 per hour plus excellent benefits.
