Job Description
Schedule:
1 day a week remote after 90 days.
The Senior Clinician/Associate Director is a licensed therapist who serves
as the Lead Clinician on site, working closely with the Director of Outpatient Services. This role is ideal for someone experienced in handling high-acuity teens and complex mental health issues, and who is eager to develop leadership and administrative skills with an eye toward future growth into a Director position.
Duties:
1. Manage a small caseload of 1-2 clients (as needed), offering individual and family
therapy.
2. Conduct weekly group sessions, including a “Multi-family Group.”
3. Lead team efforts in developing and providing group curriculum.
4. Set and achieve program goals and objectives; guide the team in planning and executing
strategies to meet these goals.
5. Assist with clinical services, including client interventions, crisis intervention, and
discharge planning, to support staff.
6. Hold regular meetings with program staff to offer advice and resolve complex cases.
7. Review and ensure the quality and continuity of client treatment plans.
8. Implement corrective actions to continuously improve treatment delivery.
9. Oversee program documentation, including treatment plans and clinical notes, for
Utilization Review.
10. Conduct random audits of client documentation to ensure compliance with governmental
regulations and standards.
11. Maintain electronic medical records in line with licensing, certification, legal, and ethical
standards.
12. Research, propose, and implement new or enhanced program services.
Managerial Duties (in collaboration with the Director of Outpatient Services):
13. Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of program staff.
14. Identify and support staff development needs through appropriate training.
15. Evaluate staff performance and competence, and discipline as necessary in accordance
with personnel policies.
16. Ensure the professional growth and development of clinical personnel through leadership
and guidance.
17. Communicate updates and changes to policies, procedures, and organizational goals to
staff.
18. Supervise the intake and discharge processes.
19. Lead and participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings to ensure the effective
implementation of treatment plans.
20. Collaborate with the outreach team to build and maintain strong relationships with
referral sources and services.
Requirements: 1. License is needed for the Associate Director role but they don’t necessarily have to have much (or any) director experience if they have a good background.
2. Must be able to pass LiveScan background test.
Compensation: $125,000 plus full benefits.
